Vitality Bowls expands to second Lubbock location
Lubbock’s dining offerings are set to get healthier this weekend with the expansion of Vitality Bowls.
Molly Watters, owner and operator of Vitality Bowls at 2400 Glenna Goodacre Blvd., will open a second location Friday, Nov. 18 at 10501 Quaker Ave. The company offers acai bowls, smoothies, wraps, cereal bowls, salads and other health food products.
“As the owner of the existing and successful Vitality Bowls cafe on the north side of town, we know the demand for Vitality Bowls in the area and want to maximize our reach to new customers and continue to provide healthy options to community members. .,” Waters said. “The cafe has a range of options for everyone, including acai bowls, salads, toast and more. We know our new location will solidify Vitality Bowls as a big part of the local food scene.

As part of the grand opening celebration, the Quaker Avenue location will be offering buy-one-get-one-free acai bowls on Friday. The deals continue on Saturday and Sunday, with buy one, get one 50% off all menu items. Some of the top sellers include:
- The Dragon Bowl, made with pitaya, pineapple, coconut milk, goji berries and bee pollen.
- Green Bowl, with granola, strawberries, kale, dates, spirulina and hemp seeds.
- Vitality Bowl, with organic acai, strawberries, banana, organic granola and honey.
- Vitality Wrap made with hummus, avocado, super greens, grains, roasted potatoes, radishes, pickled red onions, lemon tahini dressing, garlic aioli and of super seed crunch, wrapped in a tomato and basil tortilla.
All menu items are made without ice cream, frozen yogurt or artificial preservatives.
